Cameron Jones 

Lead Pastor

Cameron and his wife Anna joined VBC in 2016.  Cameron comes to us having completed his Theological Degree, and with previous experience in both Children’s ministry and Associate roles.  Cameron took up the role as Lead Pastor in December 2017.

Nikki Trowbridge

Children & Family

Nikki is our Children and Families Ministry Leader and works part-time in this role.  Nikki has three school-age children and is married to Marty.  

Stu Hastings

YOUTH & PASTORAL SUPPORT

ASHA MINISTRIES

Stu oversees Pastoral Care in the church and the management of a lay Pastoral Care Team. His role also includes New Comers' integration and the oversight of Youth Ministries.  Stu is the Chairperson of the ASHA NZ Board.  ASHA Ministries is an evangelistic and humanitarian outreach on the east coast of India.

Ali McMinn Chaplain

Ali is our Chaplain for the 60+ age group, she has a huge heart for pastoral care.  Ali has been coming to Village Baptist church since its inception and was our Administrative Deacon for a number of years.  She continues to work tirelessly on the NZ Board of ASHA ministry our outreach mission in India. 

Andy Dowley Elder

Andy is married to Jo and has two children. They have been coming to Village Baptist since emigrating from the UK in 2009. They love to entertain and have a heart for pastoral care. Andy works as an ear nose and throat surgeon at the local hospital and enjoys getting outdoors whenever he can. 

Blaine Stride Elder

Blaine is married to Diane and they have three children.  Blaine is a GP based at a clinic in Havelock North.  Blaine also serves as one of our Worship Leaders.
