Welcome to Family Ministries!

At Village Baptist Church, we recognise how hard it is to raise a family in faith.  And we want to support and encourage you in living your faith out 24/7 no matter what your household looks like.  After all, the home is the primary place where faith is nurtured and passed from generation to generation (Deuteronomy 6:1-9, 2 Timothy 1:5). 

It’s easier to say what family ministries  isn’t then what it is – it isn’t a program or a sermon.  It’s about shaping things so that we are increasingly home centred and church assisted in the way we minister to families.  Through sermons, parenting courses, messy church, a parent library, ‘take home’ Sunday school resources, parent mentors, family workshops and events – whatever we can do, we want to help you as you seek to put God in the centre of your home.
