Welcome to King's Kids!

Our children’s programme runs on Sunday mornings during school term-time, at Village Baptist Church, 147 Te Aute Road.Children can ‘sign in’ to Kings Kids at our welcome desk before the church service at 10.00 am. We join the wider church for about 15 minutes, before going out to our very own room for church where we all join in with songs, prayer and an offering for World Vision.  Next it is time to break into our small groups for our own special programmes which are specially written for each age group.  

These groups are:

• Bubbles - Ages 3-5 years 
• Salt - Years 1,2 and 3 
• Light - Years 4, 5 and 6
• FROG Squad - Years 7 and 8 

Our primary age groups (Salt & Light) come back together after morning tea for a shared lesson before breaking back into their age groups for discussion and activity.  

We believe that parents are the most influential "faith builders" in a child's life.  If you really want to see your child growing in their faith, we encourage you to make sure you take opportunities to talk with them about your own faith and God.  Each week we give parents information about the upcoming lesson, and encourage you to introduce the Bible lesson to your children at home before they come to Kings Kids.  For more great ideas on how you can build faith in your home, check out the other articles on our Kings Kids page the 'Faith at home' links, or talk to Nikki.
