Local Mission

Local Mission is all about reaching out to our local community.  We are called by Jesus to help those who are struggling, bringing freedom to those who have become trapped in their circumstances and to make a difference in the place where we live.

Through a variety of programs such as those shown below we seek to be Jesus and to make him known to our neighbours and friends.  Some of these activities are invitational in nature and are based in or on our church property.  Others involve going out to serve or minister in the local community.  All of them provide a means for us to build relationships and through those conversations to be a living testimony to what Jesus has done in and for each one of us.

  • Every Wednesday between 9.30 am and 11.45 am during term time, a group, open to all in our local community, meets to work on crafts of all kinds. You are very welcome to join in. This programme has been going for a long time and it's a place of great fellowship, friendship and support. Bring your own craft, or take part in one of the workshops to learn a new one. A crèche is provided for toddlers.
