Small Groups
At Village Baptist Church we run a number of Small Groups for the following reasons.
Small Groups are where church happens in a real and more powerful way. As our church becomes bigger this is where we go to connect, grow and minister in a more intimate setting.
Often people want to ask questions or look deeper into a topic. Sunday Morning doesn’t usually give you the chance to do that. Small Groups do.
We all need people around us who will listen, care and share the deeper things of life. People who participate in small groups experience that in ways that aren’t possible on a Sunday Morning. This is where the deeper relationships tend to be built.
In a Small Group you get to develop skills and gifting’s in a smaller and easier setting than in front of the whole church.
In a Small Group you will develop a better understanding of the Bible and how to pray in a safe and caring environment.
If you have questions or want to know more ring one of the group leaders shown to the right of this article or call the church office.
Each week we advertise which groups are meeting that week but it is the usual practice to meet during the school term and take the holidays off.
